Software Operation Modes and Screen Layouts

 

The software has three operation modes for effective presentations.

 

Note

• Only primary colors are supported when using multiple monitors.

 

 

Whiteboard mode

 

The Interactive Plasma Display can be used as a whiteboard.

The whiteboard has a concept of pages and is composed of up to ten screens that you can switch between them freely.

 

 

Note

• It is possible to draw with the electronic pen on a transparent screen background, but the desktop and other software shown on the screen cannot be operated.

 

 

Desktop operation mode

 

Other software and the desktop displayed on the screen can be operated

with an electronic pen.

 

 

Note

• It is not possible to draw on the screen in this mode.

 

 

PowerPoint Link mode

 

Characters and pictures can be drawn on a slide during PowerPoint slideshow playback.

 

 

Operation

1. Click “Change Mode” button in the menu to enter PowerPoint Link mode.

2. Select a PowerPoint file.

• If PowerPoint is already running, a list of currently open PowerPoint files will be displayed.

3. Click “Change Page” button in the menu to switch between slides.

4. Click “Marker” button or “Highlighter” button in the menu to write or draw on a slide.

5. Click “End PowerPoint Link” button to exit PowerPoint Link mode.

• Characters and pictures drawn on the slide can be saved in the PowerPoint file.

 

Note

• PowerPoint 2007 or 2010 (32-bit version) needs to be installed on the computer.

If a password has been set to a PowerPoint file, enter the password to use the file when starting the PowerPoint linkage mode.
